Shocking moment a man accused of killing a 10 year old girl and her grandparents jumps to his death at courthouse (Video)

A man who would rather die than go to jail plunged to his death from a courthouse balcony on Monday. The Ohio man was to face trial this week for starting a fire that killed a 10 year  old girl he was accused of raping and her grandparents.
Robert Seman, 48, was being escorted by two police officers to the Mahoning County Jail from the county courthouse in Youngstown  when he suddenly ran to the balcony, hurled himself over the edge, down four floors and landed on the rotunda floor of the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas. He was coming from a status conference before his trial was set to begin on April 17th in Portage County.
"According to a couple of the attorneys and basically everybody there, it seemed like he was in pretty good spirits," Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene told the Youngstown Vindicator.
"He was talking about the future of his trial, and he just decided to jump."

Robert's suicide came a week before his trial in the death of 10-year-old Corinne Gump and her grandparents, Bill and Judy Schmidt, was slated to begin. Prosecutors alleged Robert set fire to Gump's home in March 2015 because she was expected to testify against him in a rape case.
