GCGT Season 7 Update - What Would You Do If You Lost A ₦250 Million Contract, ₦10 Million Cash And A Brand New Car?

Yes, you read that right. And no, this is not one of those random data-quenching Facebook trivia questions. What you just read is the exact question I’ve been asking myself since I first heard about the opportunity I’m going to be telling you in this post.

If you win #GCGT Season 7, this is exactly what will happen: you’ll get a ₦250 million management deal, ₦10 million cash and a brand new car. Phew! How I managed to say all that in one breath.
Still guessing what this is about? Calm down, just follow my lead.

A little background info.
Back in 2011, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish wanted to identify and celebrate talents in children and teenagers.

Because there was no existing Christian platform for that, they created one and called it GOD's Children Great Talent (GCGT) with the aim to provide opportunities for talented young people to showcase their skills in Music, Dance, Spoken Word (call it poetry if you like) and Comedy.

Today, what began as a tiny idea in 2011 has blossomed into a reference point for other talent shows. It is the biggest reality Christian talent show in terms of prize and participation in the whole of Africa.

Okay, so what's the catch?
Registration for God's Children Great Talent (GCGT) Season 7 is on and closes 9th April, 2017.

Last month, the organizers in a media briefing officially unveiled the programme of events for #GCGT Season 7 and going by what they have planned, this season is going to be a blast.  The How Foundation in support of this great platform is taking GCGT prizes for this edition to another level – ₦250million management deal, ₦10million cash and a brand new car.

This year, applicants will not be required to upload a video to participate in the regional auditions (Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt). You only have to register online. Dasall.

If you don’t already know, #GCGT Judges over the years have always been top-notch and this season is no different. You'd have to convince the beautiful singer Omawumi, world-class dancer Kaffy and the ace producer himself, TY Mix that you're good enough for the prize at the finals. Just so you know, there will be regional judges too making the cuts before the boot camps and grand-finale.

Some of the regional Judges include: Benneth Ogbeiwi, Enitan Adaba,BJ Sax, Lolo, Francis Duru, Samsong, Duncan Mighty amongst others.
I have a feeling this will be fun all the way.

I could think of a million things to do with the cash prize, but I'm way past that age. There’s an opportunity for you if you qualify. So go ahead and apply. If you can't sing, you sure would be able to dance or make someone laugh. You may even have a way with words. That counts too. Just look inward and discover that hidden gem.

Now, I'm sounding motivational. But, who wouldn't with that kinda prize?

Interested participants in GCGT season 7 are to register online at www.gcgt.org and stand a chance to be selected during the regional auditions coming soon as registration closes on April 9, 2017.
